TRAVELS WITH HENRY A PISA (ITALY)

Pisa - Italy, 09/18/1907 to 09/18/2007

Pisa with nothing more than 90,000 inhabitants is a city in Tuscany Italian at the mouth of the river Arno in the Mediterranean .

His most famous sight is the leaning tower , Which is one of many artistic and architectural structures in the Campo dei Miracoli or Field of Miracles to the north of the old city center.

I tell you just a little history: Pisa was one of the 4 Marine Republics of Italy ( Repubbliche Marinare ), along with Genoa , Amalfi and Venice . The city was an important commercial center during the Middle Ages and controlled a large fleet.

Pisa In all there is to see is the Leaning Tower and the same square, il Duomo or Cathedral . These two attractions are beautiful. We strolled through Pisa in the truck trying to find its charm ... but it does not. Since then they have taken advantage of a mismatch tower.

So we were no more than 30 minutes in the Campo dei Miracoli , and we travel to Genoa where we sleep at a campsite (with a terrible view of the city), for the purposes to continue driving the other day towards Monte Carlo in Monaco .

In conclusion I think are worth seeing the esplanade where il Duomo or Cathedral and leaning tower, but not a good idea to spend a whole day Pisa.

This video sums up what we saw in Pisa:
