Innsbruck - Austria, 9/10/1907 to 9/10/1907
The Winter Olympics were held twice in Innsbruck in 1964 and 1976, the year when the city replaced Denver, Colorado to host after Colorado voters rejected funding the games.
The first documents referring to Innsbruck dating from 1187 ("Inspruck"). At that time the city served as a major crossing point River Inn . Then, the route through the Brenner Passo was the largest transport and communications link between the north and south and the easiest way to cross the Alps . The city generated revenue since it became at a crossing, resulting in development for the prosperity of it. A number of steps we took on road, in order to clear the path to the snow in the high points of the mountains. One thing to note here is that these steps are open and before hitting the road one has to check on the signals that are open all the following mountain passes and schedules.
I think it is important to talk about the city but how cute are landscapes. I think the pictures say it all, look at the snow on the mountains and the roadside. We were in what was called the Hohe Tauern National Park - Land Salzburg to meet mountains with peaks between 2000 and 3800 meters high. With a total area of \u200b\u200b1788 km2 this national park is the largest in the entire region of the Alps and is distributed over the three provinces of Salzburg, Carinthia and Tyrol.
In this landscape there are many waterfalls and in the Nordic countries, but the nicest thing was seeing snow, snow and feel the beat you in the body and clothing.
In one of the many stops we made to appreciate the scenery and take photos, I had the pleasure of making a snowman and to top it off I put the hat of the glorious Athletic Club Peñarol.
landscapes I saw here are amazing, fight the ranking with the fjords of Norway . Type puzzles are landscapes or postcards. We climbed out of the truck with about 2 or 3 degree temperature outside and we really could not believe what we were seeing. I loved visiting Austria the diversity of landscapes that is, about as different from others. In this sense I had the same feeling here in Turkey where it is a country so vast in area, its landscapes are completely different.
from the city of Innsbruck I have nothing to say because we did not give importance and we in the van just to give a brief review.
Then, after touring the sights of Innsbruck and way Interlaken (Switzerland ), we necessarily Italy, where we stayed in a village called San Martino . There my fellow truck decided to stay in a hostel for not route at night, and lost landscapes so beautiful, and because the mountain passes were closed from 20 pm.
